OLIP Director Inducted to the Order of Ottawa

On November 21st, the OLIP’s Director, Hindia Mohamoud, was inducted into the Order of Ottawa by Mayor Jim Watson.

The Order of Ottawa recognizes exceptional residents who have made a significant contribution in a professional capacity in many areas of city life, including arts and culture, business, community service, education, public service, labour.
This honour recognizes Hindia’s contributions to the city, including her leadership in the establishment and implementation of the OLIP Partnership’s community-wide vision and strategy for improving the settlement and integration of immigrants in Ottawa.
