Chantale LeClerc, Chief Executive Officer, Champlain Local Health Integration Network
November 14, 2017Chantale LeClerc has dedicated her nearly 25-year career to the field of health care, working in various sectors and in roles related to clinical care, research, education, professional practice and senior administration.
She pursued her nursing studies at McGill University in Montreal. She holds a Master of Science from the University of Toronto and graduated from the Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives.
As CEO of the Champlain LHIN since 2011, she has been leading the charge to improve the region’s ability to meet the health needs of its residents, significantly reducing wait times for many services, increasing access, and changing the way care is delivered. Chantale has done this by reaching out to communities and individuals, educating the public about the health system and by creating new and important partnerships. Chantale is also active on the provincial scene, providing input to policy development as a member of several advisory tables.
