OCCSC is organizing our 2017 Newcomers Welcome Fair on Sunday, May 28, 2017, from 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm at the Mother Teresa High School, 440 Longfields Drive in Nepean. This event will draw hundreds of newcomer families/parents.
It is a free Sunday outing, combining fun and information to welcome hundreds of immigrant families. Mayor Watson will give the opening greeting and offer photo time with participants. There will be information on settlement, employment, education, parenting, camps, health and wellness, banking, housing, automobiles and so much more. Great fun for the whole family; including games, performances, a kids/teen talent show, a lucky raffle draw, face painting, bouncy castle, collaborative painting, a bake sale to name a few.
