The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board cordially invites you to:

A Date with Diversity: Strengthening Community Connections for Student Success & Well-being

on Wednesday, April 30th from 6pm – 9pm at Rideau High School

A Date with Diversity is one of the major diversity initiatives in the current Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s strategic plan to expand professional development around diversity, equity and inclusive education with a focus on how to strengthen the connections between communities and schools to foster student success and well-being.

To this end, A Date with Diversity provides our employees and other attendees the opportunity to ask colleagues and community guests representing different aspects or dimensions of diversity any questions they may have about their experiences and insights into our ongoing conversation:

  • What are the conditions necessary to foster a more equitable and inclusive culture to support learning, well-being and a sense of belonging for the OCDSB community?

A Date with Diversity is presented in partnership with the Human Resources Department, Strategic Diverse Workforce Working Group, Lead the Way, Inclusive Safe and Caring Programs, the Advisory Committee on Equity, Longsfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School and Rideau High School.
