ACB Canadian Multiculturalism Day Event

The African Caribbean and Black Canadian Multiculturalism Day event will celebrate the unique cultures of African and individual African and Caribbean countries in Canada as part of activities marking Canada Day.
The day will include:
• Drumming, dancing, cultural performances from various African countries, poetry recitals, flag ceremony, health education and screening.
• Kids games: inflatables, face painting, and much more
• Launch of African Canadian Association of Ottawa (ACAO)
The event is FREE and open to the General Public. There will also be free hotdogs, popcorns and cotton candies for everyone. Come and enjoy the authentic African cultural celebrations in Ottawa””

The event is organized by Somerset West Community Health Centre’s ACB program together with African Canadian Associations of Ottawa and partners. The event is partly funded by Department of Canadian Heritage.
