Advancing Equity and Inclusion: A Guide for Municipalities- Book Launch

City for All Women Initiative (CAWI), in partnership with women’s organizations and municipalities across Canada, is launching the guide: Advancing Equity and Inclusion: A Guide for Municipalities.

This guide is a tool for City managers, staff, and City Councillors. It can also be useful for community organizations wanting to work with city decision makers to advance equity and inclusion in their cities. The creation of this tool builds upon the learning from the development and implementation of the Equity and Inclusion Lens in the City of Ottawa, along with promising practices from across Canada. This has been possible through a grant funded by Status of Women Canada that has brought together, municipalities, women’s organizations and national organizations with the aim of advancing gender equality through an understanding of advancing equity and inclusion for all.
