OCASI is facilitating a series of general information sessions across Ontario by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), on the settlement and resettlement program funding. Sessions will be held in communities across Ontario, identified by OCASI regions. The sessions are open to all organizations interested in applying for IRCC Settlement and Resettlement funding. Sessions are targeted to organizations with little to no funding experience with IRCC. This need was identified through the Call for Proposals (CFP) 2019 consultations IRCC Ontario Region conducted over five weeks from late September to the end of October 2018.

The IRCC presentation will focus on a review of the  intake processes, funding mechanisms available, and the process of managing funding. Sessions will also include an introduction to OCASI and its role as the provincial umbrella organization for immigrant and refugee-serving agencies in Ontario. Participants will have the opportunity to ask clarification and have their questions answered.

Please note that these sessions aim to provide general information regarding IRCC funding mechanisms. IRCC will hold separate webinars following the launch of the CFP 2019 to guide organizations through the application process and to answer questions specific to CFP 2019.

NOTE: Please register for this bilingual session. Register early as enrollment is limited!
