Hosted by CBC’s Adrian Harewood. In commemoration of the 55th Anniversary of the Enactment of the Ontario Human Rights Code. This event Popular Resistance in Africa and International Solidarity is a conversation with Professor Horace G. Campbell.

Drawing on her diverse and rich experiences on matters of social justice, Professor Joanne St. Lewis (University of Ottawa) will share her insights on race, racism and the law in Canada. The presentation will be followed by a reception with musical entertainment by a steelpan soloist, and a silent auction with items from various parts of Africa and the African diaspora. The presentation will be followed by a wine & cheese reception, and musical entertainment by steelpan soloist Dejehan “Lucky Stickz” Hamilton.

The event is free, however, registration is required.
