OLIP Partners Accomplishments: 2011-14
A review conducted by the OLIP Secretariat in the spring of 2015 showed strong results, deepening contextual awareness of needs, greater collaboration across sectors, and an openness to collaborate across sectors and take risks together. The chart below outlines the number of priorities addressed by OLIP partners and the number of collaborative action strategies designed to systematically remove barriers to immigrants’ integration.

In only three years, 23 priorities of the Ottawa Immigration Strategy are addressed with 44 collaborative initiatives, at varying stages of development and varying degree of success. In addition, during the review period, we have collectively leveraged $2.97 million and countless resources in terms of partners’ time and in-kind contribution.
This quantitative portrait of our results is very strong; but does not tell the full story of our accomplishment. It does not show the trust gained between partners, the champions that stepped up to mobilize engagement and resources, and the knowledge transferred between sectors to enable such high number of collaborations. The following brief documents outline our collective accomplishments by sector.
