Community Kicks
Recreational co-ed soccer tournament for ages 15+ (soccer challenges and mini tournament for all ages in conjunction with event supported by local soccer clubs) that welcomes the world through the power of sport. The goal is fun and breaking a sweat together. Everyone is invited to this all ability event. Bring a picnic, while the DJ spins upbeat recreational tunes. Pickup games of all sorts will connect people regardless of language and beliefs.
Find out more »Multicultural Colours: Art Workshop with Immigrant and Community Seniors
This free, drop-in event brings together participants from the Catholic Centre for Immigrant (CCI) English Conversation Circles from across the city and their neighbours for an afternoon of multicultural watercolour painting, led by visual artist and CCI volunteer Iwona Buziak-Mohamed. The workshop will be led primarily in English and all other languages are also welcome.
