A social media campaign that includes videos filmed at Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO) elementary secondary and adult schools. The videos feature testimonials on the reception and the inclusion of newcomers in (CEPEO) schools. The campaign aims to increase the awareness of the welcoming school community for successful inclusion and integration of newly arrived students and their families into society. It also aims to reassure these newcomers that they have their place among us. A video will be posted each day of Welcoming Ottawa Week (June 18 to 30) on Facebook and Twitter.
