OLIP HOSTS THE 6TH OTTAWA IMMIGRATION FORUM
November 22, 2021Ottawa, ON, November 22, 2021 – The Ottawa Local Immigration Forum (OLIP) is pleased to host the 6th Ottawa Immigration Forum on November 22 and 23, 2021, at 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM. The theme of this two-day event is Equity Matters in Ottawa: Policy, Practice and Potential.
During this biennial gathering of OLIP partners, local and national experts will reflect on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on immigrants and racialized populations in key areas including health care, the economy, and municipal services.
In particular, the Forum will be a space to:
- Consolidate our lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and chart a path to plan for better outcomes
- Pave the way for the renewal of OLIP partners’ strategic plan
- Learn about the Government of Canada’s immigration and integration agenda post-pandemic
- Receive OLIP Progress report for the past two years
