Preparing for the Canadian Citizenship Test with OCCSC

September 2, 2021

The Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre (OCCSC) offers preparation sessions to take the Canadian Citizenship Test. They are held throughout the year at various days/times to best meet the needs of the clients.

The course is directed at understanding the new online Citizenship Test, its format, content and how to study based on the official guide, Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship. This includes: Canada’s history, geography, government, political system, national symbols, identity and values, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.

The last course took place on July 2021 with a specific emphasis on engaging delivery of its contents. For example, OCCSC helped participants to become more active and better-informed members of their community and prepared them for the Canadian Citizenship test through simulated test questions practice and available online resources for self-enrichment.

To request more information on the program and upcoming sessions, you can email occsc@occsc.org. With sufficient expressions of interest, OCCSC can deliver these sessions tailored to the client’s requests.
