Ottawa Local Immigration Partnership (OLIP) is hosting two full-day, in-person Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Training sessions on March 25 and March 27, 2026.
Designed specifically for senior leaders and service providers, this interactive training will equip participants with practical tools to meaningfully shift organizational culture, policies, and practices through anti-racism and anti-oppression principles. Participants will deepen their understanding, strengthen their leadership capacity, and explore actionable strategies to advance equity within their organizations and across the sector.
At a time marked by rising hate, anti-immigrant sentiment, and the growing normalization of exclusion and oppression, this work is more urgent than ever. As leaders serving immigrants and racialized communities, we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to stand firmly against harmful narratives and to foster inclusive, equitable systems of support.
Please note: This training is open to Equity Ottawa partners only. If your organization is interested in becoming a member, please contact Yusra Osman at yusra@olip-plio.ca for more information.
