To successfully govern and oversee the Ottawa Police Service, Board members need to have diverse experience. They must also have personal qualities to work well in a group. Additionally, they should represent the community they serve. To ensure the Board has the right skills and experience, it has adopted a Competency/Skills Composite. This sets the minimum number of members needed for each requirement.
