This presentation will discuss how a group of francophone newcomer youth allied with non-newcomer youth and CHEO's mental health planners. They came to form a youth advisory committee which was tasked with increasing access to mental health care services. It highlights how their project grew to play a significant advisory role to all major francophone mental health care service providers. he presentation will also include information related to fostering early childhood mental health.
