Mr. Valin has more than 25 years of experience in various challenging and competitive working fields. He graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor Degree in Communication from the Ottawa University.

He has worked 15 years in the Broadcast Media industry and 5 years In the  Optical-Medical Devices industry as a Territory manager for CooperVision. He started to work at La Cité collégiale in 2006 as a Training Counsellor and obtained a promotion in 2008 as a Program Manager. He is now responsible of Community Partnerships & Bridging Programs for immigrant students at La Cité collégiale.

His experiences are as follows:

• Responsible of the operations, finances, strategic planning , lobbying activities and analyses of profitability for the vocational training sectors and newcomers integration programs.

• Development and implementation of marketing strategies to reach recruitment goals and financial goals of La Cité des affaires.

• Liaison officer with the Federal and Provincial Government for the Bridging Programs for the immigrant students of La Cité collégiale.

• Manage the operations and responsible of the financial aspects of the Bridging Programs

• Handle internal and external clients and operations functions at all levels of management in the public and private sectors.

• Identify strategic business opportunities, research and analysis, develop operational options, and make recommendations for the implementation of the proposed solutions.

• Deliver products in accordance with the timelines and budget with a pro-active problem-solving approach.
