Community Role Model – The OMMI writing contest encouraged writers to pen in 500 words or less essays about their favorite community role model (i.e., Chinese, Somali, etc.), explaining why this person is admired and the influence this person has had upon the writer’s life.
Representing your Community — The OMMI photography contest, representing original photos from selected aspects of communities (i.e., Chinese, Spanish-Speaking Latin American, South Asian, or Somali will be showcased.
