The Canadian Institute for Identities and Migration, a division of the Association for Canadian Studies – is excited to re-launch their cornerstone publication Indexing Integration: A Review of National and International Models. This publication, highlighting existing immigrant integration indices, is a foundational report that has driven the creation of the Canadian Index for Measuring Integration (CIMI), a tool that evaluates the state of immigrant integration across Canada.

Using government datasets, the CIMI will assess changes and trends in immigrant integration over time and across demographics based on selected key dimensions such as economics, health, social, and civic and democratic participation. CIMI is expected to enhance Canadian Service Providing Organizations (SPOs) ability to design policies and programs founded in evidence-based trends in several areas germane to immigrant integration within your region.

There will also be a book launch at the event.
