We’re asking local Ottawans to tell us why they care about making Ottawa’s places great! Community members will share their awesome local placemaking stories to better understand how various sectors come together to improve community life.

For every great public space, there is a hardworking group of people behind it. We want to know why individuals choose to put the effort in, what success looks like, and how we might be able to adapt some of their experiences into our own. We are very pleased to welcome the unique perspectives of
Aaron Cayer, Antique Skate Shop;
Jaime Koebel, Indigenous Walks;
Jamie Kwong, QVBIA;
Chris Osler, Sandy Hill Community Health Centre; and
Norma Strachan, Neighbourhood Connection Office with the City of Ottawa!

Join us on July 21 in the fabulous allsaints venue to talk about the places and spaces important to you! We will eat, drink, and be merry as we explore the challenges and opportunities for Ottawa placemaking.
