The Prime Minister’s Youth Council is an initiative by Prime Minister Trudeau to hear from Canada’s young people and to use their feedback to make informed policy decisions. 30 youth between the ages of 16 and 24 from across the country will be chosen to represent the council. Members will advise the Prime Minister on national issues like employment, education and the environment. Members will also meet several times a year in different places across the country to talk about important issues that relate to them.

You have from July 22 until August 12 to join the first wave of Youth Council members who will meet with the Prime Minister in early October 2016. You have from July 22 until October 7 to join the second wave of members who will meet with the inaugural members and the Prime Minister in 2017.
