Guided Tour of Parliament Hill and Rideau Hall

By popular demand, La Cité will again this year organize a tour of Parliament Hill and Rideau Hall.

The Parliament of Canada is a concrete example of democracy in action. In Parliament, our representatives examine the major issues of the day, decide on policies, and pass laws that affect all Canadians. The Library of Parliament offers many programs and resources to teach immigrants, in class or during the visit the democratic process in Canada.

Rideau Hall in Ottawa, is a place where Canada’s governors general have lived and worked since Confederation gives full meaning to history lessons and citizenship.
