There are many great ideas, but do you have a great business idea?
By pulling a wide variety of different factors and components together, you will be able to determine if it is a good business idea, identify what you need to do, how you are going to do it, and how successful you could be.
In this 1.5 hour session, you will learn why every entrepreneur should have a plan to help guide them and what the various sections of the business plan cover. Having a good business plan is a solid foundation for a successful business!
Toward the end of the seminar, a wrap-up presentation will be delivered by Mark Cawley on writing your business plan with a view to what lenders are, and almost as importantly are not, looking for.

Mark Cawley, The Ottawa Community Loan Fund (OCLF) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2000,arranging loans of up to $45,000, but with an average of around $15,000, to start and expand businesses in Ottawa. The OCLF has arranged over $2,000,000 in financing since its inception to individuals and businesses who would otherwise not be able to expect to obtain sufficient, and usually any, funding from commercial lending organisations.
Currently the OCLF arranges loans from the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), as its Community Partner in Ottawa, and loans from Alterna Bank supported by the OCLF’s guarantee.
