Making Post-secondary Education Inclusive

A public discussion about how to ensure that the post-secondary experience is rewarding, enjoyable and an experience of discovery of one’s talents and interests within an inclusive and caring community .The discussion will be led by the University mentors of Youth Futures/Avenir Host: Youth Futures/Avenir Jeunesse and will include University mentors, high school participants, parents and members of the Champions Table of Youth Futures/Avenir Jeunesse.

This program is a partnership of the 5 post-secondary institutions in Ottawa, the City of Ottawa, Ottawa Community Housing and a large number of equity –seeking community organizations. The various participants in the discussion will describe and discuss with the audience ways of ensuring that post-secondary education builds welcoming communities for the full diversity of the society.
