The Human Services Justice Coordinating Committee, with the support of the Ottawa Youth Justice Services Network and Crime Prevention Ottawa, is organizing an Agency Fair aimed at supporting knowledge exchange and collaboration in serving Transitional-Aged youth. Transitional-Aged Youth are defined as those persons who are between the ages of 16 and 24 years; these youths often ‘fall between the cracks’ when trying to access a variety of services across the Champlain Local Health Integration Network.

For those of you who work in an agency that serves Transitional-Aged Youth, please register for a booth at the Fair. This will be a wonderful opportunity for your Agency to showcase your programs and services to a wide range of representatives from social service agencies, Criminal Justice professionals (e.g. Police, Crown Attorneys, Defence Attorneys, Judges and other agencies), as well as youth and their families.

For those of you who are professionals working with Transitional-Aged Youth in some capacity and are interested in learning more about other programs and services that may benefit your clients, please save the date in your calendars and plan to attend the Agency Fair. This will be an opportunity to connect with youth and their families as well as others who are working with this population.
