Important Webinar for Health Care providers Centretown Community Health Center’s SCREEN program is pleased to present a Cultural Competency webinar session for Health Care providers:

“Getting it Right!” Best Practices In Cross Cultural Care”

The purpose of this 1-Hour webinar session is to bring panellists from different organizations in Ottawa to share their experiences and stories in Cross Cultural care.

The intention of the session is to enhance your practice in cross cultural care and to learn from your peers how to incorporate best practice in your day to day activities.

The session builds on the success of the “Enhancing Cultural Competencies” workshop and the “Culturally Influenced Barriers in Chronic Disease Management” webinar conducted by the SCREEN/CD-RAP program previously.

This webinar will be of interest to all health care providers and managers who work with people with diabetes.  It is relevant for those who have attended previous workshops and those who have not.

The Webinar will be facilitated by Nancy Mark, Cross-Cultural Competency Specialist.
