“Words & Kurds” Literary Event

Please join us on Saturday, November 15th from 1:30- 3:30 pm at the Ottawa Public Library, Main Branch, Metcalfe St. for a lively afternoon celebrating “WORDS & KURDS” – Special guest Sardar Saadi- activist & PhD student – will present his recent visit to Rojava Kurdistan(Syria) where he’s founded Rojava Media Project (empowers Rojava youth to document their stories of resistance by providing media production training & equipment).

Also Jaffer Sheyholislami (Carleton U.) will read some lovely poems, I will read about the 3 day wedding from The Word Not Spoken, Free admission, Refreshments.
