WOW 2020 Events Are Cancelled

June 25, 2020

We regret to inform you that due to the COVID-19 pandemic Welcoming Ottawa Week (WOW) and Welcoming Ottawa Ambassadors Award will not be held this year. With social distancing and other public health directives in place, we find it practically impossible for OLIP and WOW contributors to host WOW events in a way that will maximize opportunities for quality interactions among residents, old and new. As we go through these challenging times, we look forward to continuing to work with our partners to maintain the spirit and essence of WOW and strengthen Ottawa as a welcoming community. We invite you to visit the WOW events and Awards webpages to learn about past WOW Events and Welcoming Ottawa Ambassador Award recipients.
