While the diversification of Francophone communities through immigration is growing quickly, the experiences of integration and community participation vary greatly by region and environment. This workshop will explore the new social and geographical dynamics that come from this diversification. It will use critical perspectives and different methods. Beyond inclusive talk about immigration, are Francophone communities ready to change and become true welcoming places? What factors affect social cohesion in these communities? What lessons can we learn to improve the retention and inclusion of Francophone immigrants?
