Special Film Screening of “Refugees of the Blue Planet”. This National Film Board documentary explores stories from environmental refugees, following the accounts of people displaced and living in various parts of the world and their similarities to the accounts of those living in Canada (in French with English subtitles). In partnership with the Ottawa Local Immigration Partnership’s celebration of Welcoming Ottawa Week 2018! Following the film, Dr. Luisa Veronis will reflect on and lead a discussion of key issues explored in the documentary.
